Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who had shot for a well known melody from 1983 film "Mahaan" at a notorious area in Kathmandu, has grieved the loss of lives in shake hit Nepal and communicated melancholy at the decimation of legacy structures.

The 72-year-old had shot the melody "Pyaar mein dil pe" with Zeenat Aman at the Durbar Square, an Unesco World Heritage site in old Kathmandu.

The area, which looks brilliant and energetic in the tune's feature, is presently diminished to rubble taking after the 7.9-extent temblor Saturday, which has left more than 1800 individuals dead.

On Twitter, he composed: "O God... this is Nepal quake!!! I shot a tune here for "Mahaan" with Zeenat Aman .. supplicate all well."
